HOUSE CONCERTS - It seems that House Concerts are becoming more and more popular with Flockers. I seem to be doing several a month now. Some turn it into a party, some it's really a concert. I like them, I get to know everyone one on one and it's quite intimate, no big show, kind of living room style - people that have seen me play often say it was like "Nick was sitting in my living room". WHAT'S A FLOCKER?

What's a Flocker you ask? It all started when my second CD "Plastic Pink Flamingos" was released in 2005. My fans decided that they needed to call themselves something other than "Nick Fans" or "Flamingo-heads", which neither one sounded so great and the latter was too close to the "parrot-head" buffett throng. One night while playing, my good friend Valerie Barone coined the phrase "Flockers" to describe all the people that had 'flocked' like birds (flock of flamingos) to hear me play that evening. We laughed and decided to adopt it as a 'term of endearment' for my fan-base. It was cute and worked well from a marketing standpoint. My Mom, who is an artist created a cartoon flamingo "Pinky" for the CD cover, who eventually became the mascot of the Flockers. I thought the term had faded away with the onset of a new musical direction away from my then "Florida style" sound. As I gained noteriety and "Outside The Lines" topped the charts, the "Flockers" re-surfaced, never to be forgotten. Now at over 11,000 members strong, they will not be denied!Page 3

Amanda found Nick's music in 2005 at a concert at Margaritaville in Orlando Florida, she has been a die-hard Flocker ever since.
