HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

#1 "Who I Am" Folk/Rock Charts - I have to say I've been quite proud of the fact that my song "Who I Am" from my current CD "Outside the Lines" has been sitting quietly at #1 on The Folk/Rock Charts at www.ezfolk.com for weeks. This is a really well done site for folkies, all kinds. I'm honored that they have accepted my music with such vigor.  

Pandora Radio - You can program my music on your iPhone or through your home computer using Pandora Radio – It's free and quite cool, give it a try at www.pandora.com 

Facebook.com - Ok, so I really did fight being on Facebook, I thought another networking site? Well it seems to be the thing, so I'm there. If you're on Facebook.com, I need you to friend me. I still look really pathetic. Also, be patient with me, I still find Facebook hard to navigate... I'm so confused... my brain hurts.  

Forced Vacation Time! - Just when you think everything is moving along smoothly...lolol - well, one of my regular long running bookings crashed. I have this thing about being lied to, and this new guy who took over the entertainment at the Creek did just that, in front of a lot of people. When I called him on it, he wouldn't own up to it. With that said, I couldn't work for them any longer. So after 4 years with the Seminole Coconut Creek Casino I cancelled all of my future engagements and walked, band and all. Well, that left me staring at a ½ empty schedule for November; the good part is that I needed some vacation time anyway!  

19 Months on Chart – Outvoice Charts - "Outside The Lines" has now officially been in the charts for an amazing 19 months! As most of you know, we reached the #1 position 5x's since its debut at #3 in March 2007. Thank you for continuing to vote for me. You can cast your vote for me at www.outvoice.net  

Video Blog - Starting in the coming weeks, I'll be experimenting with a new "video" blog/journal. I'm not sure how it's going to work, but we're going to try it and see how it goes. Check my blog to see if I got it working yet! Lol Still working on it... sorry for the delay! 

New Website Coming - We are currently working on a new website. We are hoping to unveil it before the New Year. 

HUMAN RACE - the Band - We are currently working on a separate Fan website for Nick Granato & Human Race. It'll be a little more focused on the guys in the group and the different band activities.

PRIDE IN THE ARTS AWARDS - what does it mean? 

• 2007 Artist Of The Year - Stonewall Society/Pride in The Arts Awards

What it means -   Besides the fact that my fan-base voted and my peers have recognized the achievement, it means validation. I breathed a sigh of relief when my CD "Outside The Lines" first charted on the prestigious Outvoice Top 40, it meant I got my foot in the door, as you all know it snowballed from that moment. The recognition it has given me is immense, the rewards have been too numerous to mention. This next year should reflect exactly what it meant. Magazine and News articles have already started appearing around the country. The wire services carried the win, radio interviews etc.  I'm still stunned and humbled and so very grateful to all of you who took your time on my behalf.   

• 2007 CD/Album Of The Year - Stonewall Society/Pride in The Arts Awards

What it means - On a personal level, it means people actually listened to my music. It means that I am being effective in my delivery both musically and lyrically. It means that I successfully bridged a gap. Professionally, the CD was recognized out of 1000's of candidates. We worked hard on it, the musicians, the graphics, the life that went into it and it was acknowledged.
